Ever since its inception, Jagatik Marathi Chamber of Commerce & Industries has ceaselessly strived to work for the development of industry and trade, with special emphasis on promotion of entrepreneurship amongst the Marathi speaking younger generation. We are a worldwide, non-government, not-for-profit organization working with the prime objective of creating a business network amongst Marathi speaking businessmen across the world for their development and progress.

Today, as a consequence of the economic reforms that we have ushered in during the last one and a half decades, coupled with the globalisation phenomenon across the world, we are required to confront emerging challenges from various quarters. However, the globalisation era has also opened up numerous opportunities for us. We have to convert challenges to our advantage in a meaningful way and avail of the opportunities for our progress. Besides making business capable of sustaining globalisation also making it prosper, is by itself a major challenge that all of us need to face together.

We should, however, ensure that the process of globalisation must necessarily have a human face and that the welfare of the individual in all its varied dimensions is at the core of every such process.
